Chamber Chatter: “Tourism on the rise!”
Tourism is definitely on the rise by witness of our increase in tourist counts at the Visitors Center. Visits so far this year are up to the same period last year by 16.9% and to the same period in 2016 by 55.9%. Market Days vendor participation, and the ensuing revenue that comes from booth rentals, is up to 2017 by 63.9% and to 2016 by a whopping 156.2%!
