County Stage One Drought Restrictions Imposed
One of the criteria for declaring stage one drought conditions is that no water is running over the dam at the city water station at Kendalia Road.

At the June 21, 2018 meeting of the Board of Directors, Ron Fieseler, General Manager of the Blanco-Pedernales Groundwater Conservation District briefed the Board on declining aquifer levels in District monitor wells, decreasing flow in the Blanco and Pedernales Rivers, recent rainfall history, and extended weather forecasts. Fieseler noted that Canyon Lake Water Service Company and the City of Blanco have both declared Drought Stage One last week.
