Casparis Comes Back Together —
The Bi-Annual Casparis Family Reunion brought together members of the family between 9- and 92-years-old at the Lyndon B. Johnson State Park.

The Casparis family reunion took place on Saturday, June 16 at the LBJ State Park dining hall on the banks of the Pedernales River in Stonewall. The reunion is held every even-numbered year. About 30 family members from across Texas enjoyed a BBQ lunch. It was a smaller than usual group, but there were long-lost cousins and old-timers with stories about Johnson City as it was in the 1940s.
