Johnson City’s First Appearance on State Green

For the first time in history, Johnson City sent a representative to the UIL State Gold Tournament. Zack Hernandez has been Johnson City’s only golfer for the past four years. Zack got his start by playing golf with his father who taught him the basics and he says “my dad and grandfather were the two people who started my love of golf.” Freshman year, Zack began his high school golf career.
