The Johnson City Lady Eagle softball team fell to the Karnes City Lady Badgers in a best of three game situation over the weekend. JC took the first game 3-0 on Friday but lost the next two games 0-2 and 0-5 on Saturday. The Lady Eagles finished the season as District runner-up, with a total record of nine wins, 21 losses, and one draw. The air held an electric feeling Friday night, something only high-school playoffs can bring.
