Council Announces Choice for Police Chief

City Council announced their choice for Chief of Police Tuesday night at their regular meeting for the month of May. Former Johnson City Officer Ross Allen will take over the Chief role in June of this year. They also discussed ordinances and amendments to clarify existing city laws. General Business Ross Allen, former Johnson City Officer with a long career as a Texas Peace Officer and Federal Law Enforcement Officer, was selected to be Chief of Police for Johnson City.
