JCPD Makes Changes, Boosts Department
The evidence room as of Nov. 15. According to the report for JCPD evidence were in trash bags, heavy plastic boxes were stacked atop deteriorating cardboard boxes all without a discenable pattern of organization. Log books were not able to be located. Evidence in the room is set to be legally purged and documented in January and the chain of custody of evidence will be re-established.
