Harvey Support Continues
Three of the children at the First United Methodist Church’s Wednesday after-school program helped bring in a load of donations to the Hurricane Harvey relief campaign…which turned out to include boxes of toys from Dollar General. Johnson City’s support for Hurricane Harvey survivors continues, with deliveries of relief supplies and preparations for work teams to go help rebuild. “We’ve established contact with distribution centers in the hurricane area, and plan to keep delivering loads of needed supplies to them as long as the folks in Johnson City keep helping us fill the loads,” said Pastor Lee Romero of the First United Methodist Church.
