Music aids Memory for Seniors
Caroline Welton, American Heritage Girl, prepares for her Stars and Stripes project helping twenty nursing home residents with memory and communication through music.
“There’s nothing that speaks to the human soul quite the way music does,” says Caroline Welton, American Heritage Girl, who is helping seniors recover memories with music. Partnered with a program called Music and Memory, Caroline is collecting donations of money and music to provide iPods to residents at LBJ Nursing Home in Johnson City.
