An upcoming short film will have some local icons featured. “Cotton,” a short film project by Producer and Director, Tyler Russell, used Johnson City Police Cars and Odiorne Feed Store hats in the production filmed on a Cypress Mill ranch. The film follows Sheriff Cotton, a small-town Texas Sheriff played by George Hardy and the hot-headed but good hearted Deputy Shanks, played by Judd Lormand. “I’m kinda the peacekeeper.” Says Hardy about his character.
