Lone Finalist Chosen for JCISD Superintendent
The district’s board of trustees met May 9, 2017, and named Richard Kolek as the lone finalist to take over the superintendent role for Johnson City ISD. Kolek has spent 24 years in education including teaching and administrative experience. He is currently the Deputy Superintendent for Taylor ISD, a title he has held for 5 years.
