A new Council member was sworn into Leandy Pletcher’s vacant seat at the start of April 4’s City Council Meeting. Gayla Guthrie filled the open City Council position and discussed with the other City Council members city park updates, Main Street safety upgrades and the solar site lease. Guthrie was appointed to fill the open position and is on next month’s election ballot to be voted into the remaining one year of her term.
