Slow down in Stonewall
Drivers traveling on US 290 West will have to slow down. The speed limit between Stonewall and Fredericksburg has been reduced from 70 to 60 miles per hour. On January 26, TxDOT announced that the Texas Transportation Commission voted to approve the reduced speed limit the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) proposed.
