Sheriff’s Office on lookout for sex offender

The Blanco County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance from the public in locating Sonny Ray Byrne. Byrne was convicted in 2011 in Bexar County, Texas for Sexual Assault of a Child. Byrne was released from prison and registered as a sex offender. However, Byrne failed to appear to renew his registration and has absconded.
