Property Owners sent Appraisal Notices for the 2016 Tax Year

If your property increased in value in the last year, you will soon receive an appraisal notice from the Blanco County Appraisal District. Approximately 5,103 notices were mailed on Friday, April 29, 2016. Your city, county, school districts and other local taxing units will use the appraisal districts values to set your 2016 property taxes. Under Texas Law, county appraisal districts are required to notify property owners about changes in their property’s value.
