What’s an election without a little chaos!

The Blanco County elections started routinely and as the day progressed there were a few glitches. Precinct 2 did not order enough ballots to handle the large number of voters and the County Clerk, Laura Walla, had to print and deliver copies of ballots. Early voting ballots were easily read by the ESS (Election Systems and Software) reader but around 8p.m., just as the Precincts were delivering their ballots, the equipment failed and could not read ballots.
