Spring Sports Kickoff Despite Winter Weather
The Johnson City Eagles Baseball team opened the 2015 season Wednesday night in Johnson City against Regents High School from Austin. Coach Casey Buaas had to put off opening day because of the basketball playoffs, but his team came out red hot Wednesday night defeating Regents 16-1. Payton Scott started on the mound for the Eagles and pitched 4 innings and allowed no hits and 1 unearned run.
