A casual discussion in the Horseshoe Bay post office about local published authors became a vibrant discussion on Nextdoor.com that has led to the creation of the first ever writers’ forum here in Horseshoe Bay.

In an effort to unite the writing community living in Horseshoe Bay and its surrounding communities, published authors and writers (books, bloggers, journalists), aspiring writers, professional editors, illustrators, and publishers are invited to meet on Sept. 14 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Horseshoe Bay Property Owners Association facilities at Quail Point Lodge located at 107 Twilight Ln, Horseshoe Bay, TX 78657.

The goal of the gathering is to meet the writers and publishing talent within the HSB community with the hope that, by creating a community that shares knowledge, the group not only enhances its own opportunities and successes as writers, but also helps elevate others as well.
