POA board full, dates set for neighborhood meetings

May was a great month for the HSBPOA!

Our board is now at full strength with the additions of Linda Burling and Don Beeman. Thanks to their vast experience and exceptional skills - both hit the ground running and are fully engaged! Linda and Don are helping with planning, public relations and communications. Linda is helping revamp this newsletter and Don has already represented us at a planning & zoning commission meeting!

Another item they have been helping with is future planning. I am most happy to announce that we will be holding three “Neighborhood Workshop Meeting” in June. The purpose of these neighborhood focused workshops is get specific feedback on what the members’ needs and wants are and to explain what we do vs what the city and resort do.

The meetings will be from 5-6:30 p.m. The schedule of meetings is as follows:

June 21 at Quail Point Lodge for HSB Proper and Central – that is everybody from North of Hi Circle South and 2147, East of Escondido to the East City boundary.

June 22 at the Church at Horseshoe Bay – that is everybody South of Hi Circle South and 2147, East of Escondido up to the East City boundary. This includes the Hills (airport) & Highlands of HSB, the Uplands, and HSB South.

June 24 at the Cap Rock Pavilion for HSB West.

Folks can come to any or all of the meetings and we will take your input.

We will also advertise these meetings and send out other notices. But please mark your calendars – we are most interested in improvements we need to make over the next 5 years – and want your input!
