The San Saba County Chamber of Commerce is delighted to invite everyone to SAN SABA’S MILL POND PARK for a Friday, Saturday and Sunday celebration filled with family fun on July 2, 3 and 4th for an INDEPENDENCE EXTRAVAGANZA!

FRIDAY JULY 2nd:

7PM KICKBALL TOURNAMENT (minimum age: 12 and up)

Teams of 12 players (5 women vs 5 men)

10 teams pay $120 ($10/player) 30 min time limit / double elimination

SATURDAY JULY 3rd: (Saturday & Sunday Park at Civic Center, take Shuttle to the Park)

PADDLE BOARDS & KAYAKS, and VENDORS ALL SATURDAY & SUNDAY!

Food trucks, food vendors (Pecan House Grill margaritas and wine + area wineries)

Funnel cakes, snow cones, ice cream. Vendors of all sorts, including arts and crafts.

7AM STAN WEIK’S MEMORIAL 5K RUN & CANCER STOMP

followed by a 1 mile FUN RUN. $25 entry fee, open to all ages.

1st, 2nd and 3rd medals will be given per each age division.

9AM ANTIQUE & CLASSIC CAR SHOW

An exciting car show will held in the parking lot behind Wedding Oak Winery.

11AM 4th of JULY PARADE DOWNTOWN

Starts on Commerce St at the School and ends at Mill Pond Park! Kids, decorate your bikes,

golf carts, 4 wheelers, and join in! Antique and classic cars may join in, too. No floats.

1 PM sat / 2 PM sun

CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT

$20 entry fee per person / $40 per team for both games

50% payout 50% proceed to the SSC Chamber of Commerce!

SOCIAL BEGINNERS:

Double elimination, best 2 out of 3 winners brackets, losers bracket one and done.

SOCIAL COMPETITIVE:

Double elimination, best 2 out of 3 winners breaker, losers bracket one and done.

4PM TILL MIDNIGHT: CONCERT & DANCE

OVER THE MOON starts up the show with great oldies from the 50s up to hits of today.

Performed by Patrick Brennan and Sophia Lynne.

The JEB BRIDGES BAND follows with their brand of Texas Country Western

and Southern Rock.

RICK TRAVINO, a well known Country Western Artist will dazzle the crowd with his hits

hit songs to dance away the night.

8AM OLD GLORY GOLF TOURNAMENT San Saba’s beautiful Municipal 18 Hole Course

Golf Entry Fee $50/person, 4 Person Scramble, Cart Included, BYOB (golf balls)
