For a full-throttle July 4th weekend in Llano, be sure to be at Llano’s Rock’N Riverfest and Jet Ski Races on the Llano River in Badu Park!!! 

Get Ready… Get Set… GO!  Time trials for jet ski racing on the beautiful Llano River, just west of the Llano bridge will start at 10 in the morning.  These races will definitely make waves that afternoon, so be sure to hang around!  Roger Monroe, announcer for San Angelo Dragboat Races, will be the official announcer.  For more information on participating and entering this portion of the weekend, please contact Bryan Gumbert at 830-220-2870 or Eugene Long at 325-247-6961

Jet ski races are open to the public. In order to race, they must have a helmet, life vest and kill cord. There will be a hand drop start and time trials so that you will be put into a class with your speed (for a better chance to win). Race will be at Badu Park (below the bridge). Race is July 1. They will start at noon this year to give plenty of time to people to get into town to participate.No drinking allowed.

In addition to the jet ski races, there will be activities for all members of the family – vendors, live music, water rides, splash pad, disc gold, washers, Rat Rod Car Show, Kayak Races, a BBQ Cook-off and more!

Llano, Texas ALWAYS has the BEST fireworks in the Hill Country, and this year is no exception. EXCEPT! They will be held on July 1 AND July 4! The sky will light up over the Llano River with fireworks at dark:30.  Come early enjoy a swim in the river at the Llano Beach, or rent a kayak for some added fun. Stake out your claim in the park on the river for a fantastic light show, pick your place on the bridge, or around the courthouse square to celebrate our great country with us.
