FREDERICKSBURG, TX — The Fourth Annual Hill Country Food Truck Festival, featuring over a dozen food trucks, ten Texas Hill Country wineries and a lineup of live Texas music, will take place from Noon until 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, in Luckenbach Texas.  Rain or shine.  

Last year almost 3,000 folks enjoyed what could be best described as an iconic summer day in the Texas Hill Country – delicious food, Texas wine, ice cold beer and great Americana music!   All in a legendary place – Luckenbach Texas

Over a dozen regional food trucks will be selling lunch and dinner from noon to 8:00 p.m. (or until sold out). Trucks who are scheduled for the event to date include:  Cheesy Jane’s (burgers), Cousin’s Main Lobster, Backwoods BBQ, Slider Provider (slider burgers), Hippie Momma’s (comfort food), Stouts Pizza, Top Notch Diner (comfort food), Teka Molino (Mexican), Get Fried Café (gourmet fries), Wheelie Gourmet (Mediterranean), Hitchin Post Steakhouse, SaWeet Cupcakes, Tikiz Shaved Ice and JustTeaBar.

The “Weingarten” will be open with ten Texas Hill Country wineries selling by glass and bottle from noon to 8:00 p.m. (or until sold out). Wineries include Becker Vineyards, Bending Branch Winery, 4.0 Cellars, Wedding Oak Winery, Lost Draw Cellars, Messina Hof Hill Country Winery, Henly Vineyards, Kissing Tree Vineyards, Hye Meadow Winery and Flanigan’s Texas Distillery & Winery.

Texas craft beers (and others) will be for sale all day and evening at the Luckenbach Texas bar.

Live Texas music will be featured throughout the day and evening from noon to 11:00 p.m. on the outdoor stage under the oaks.  The music line-up includes Zac Wilkerson, Jeff Plankenhorn, Sweet Shine & Honey (Rachel Laven), Audry Oliver, Clayton Gardner, L&M Kings and Julia Hatfield.  Headlining the event will be The Dirty River Boys from El Paso.     

Family friendly event, and dogs on leashes are welcome.

There will be seating under tents in the food truck area.  Bring your lawn chairs to claim a perfect shady spot in the music stage area.   

Plenty of free parking on-site. 

Grounds admission tickets are $15 per adult; children 12 and under are free. Tickets are on sale now at www.luckenbachtexas.com.  Or at the gate starting at 11:00 a.m. on festival day. 

Proceeds will benefit the Texas Center for Wine and Culinary Arts (TCWCA), an approximately 15,000 sq. ft. educational facility which will be built in Fredericksburg, the hub of the wine industry in the Texas Hill Country. In addition to the TCWCA, event organizers include Luckenbach Texas, Texas Hill Country Wineries, the San Antonio Food Truck Association and the Fredericksburg Convention and Visitor Bureau.

Sponsors to date include the City of Fredericksburg, Fredericksburg Inn & Suites, Class A Rentals, Texas Department of Agriculture, Allied Ag, and the GO CLINIC of Hill Country Memorial Hospital.
