· 3rd Annual Tipsy Crawdad Golf Tournament & Mudbug Boil (May 6): Enjoy this 4-person golf scramble-style tournament at the Bechtol-Russell designed Golf Club of Texas Concan located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country River Region, nestled by the Frio River. · River Road Market Fest (May 6, October 7 and December 2; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.): Head over to Andy’s on River Road for this street-style market pop-up featuring live music and entertainment, family friendly activities and kids games, local artisan shopping and food vendors, keepsake photo ops and more. May 6’s festival will feature a special Cinco de Mayo celebration; October’s will include a pumpkin patch for kids; and December’s event will welcome a special appearance from Santa.
· Bud Priddy Fly Fishing Tournament (May 6): Participate in this weekend fly-fishing tournament, hosted by the Alamo Fly Fishers of San Antonio, along the Nueces River. A catered awards banquet will take place on Saturday, May 6, at the Big Oak River Camp along the Nueces River.
· 15th Annual Utopia Ranch Rodeo and Dance (May 28, 7 p.m., Utopia Park Arena): This authentic Texas rodeo is sure to amaze with bronc riding, wild-cow milking, branding, penning and mugging.
