Horseshoe Bay New Home Tour set for Saturday, May 21

(HORSESHOE BAY, Texas) _ As the Austin area continues to grow and traffic congestion continues to increase to the west, Horseshoe Bay is likely to become more popular as the distance between Austin’s growth and the Horseshoe Bay area narrows.

Some of the best available new home properties available in Horseshoe Bay will be on display from 11 a.m. to 3p.m. Saturday, May 21st at the Horseshoe Bay New Home Tour, presented by Horseshoe Bay Resort Realty.

Tickets for the Horseshoe Bay New Home Tour are $10 per person and can be purchased online at hsbresort.com. Space is limited. Refreshments will be offered at several of the properties. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Horseshoe Bay Resort Associate Relief Fund.

“The Horseshoe Bay area has the intrinsic qualities of clean air and water, none of the traffic problems of suburbs or cities and is fortunate to have great police and fire protection,” Director of Sales and Marketing for Horseshoe Bay Resort Realty Mike Gordon said. “Today, the Horseshoe Bay Resort community is predominantly a second home and retirement community built upon a lifestyle of first class recreational amenities, including world class golf, lake front and Hill Country living.”

The Horseshoe Bay New Home Tour will feature ten homes total located in the Summit Rock Golf Community, the Highlands area on Lake LBJ and in the Trails of Horseshoe Bay.

“The homes featured in the Horseshoe Bay New Home tour reflect the lifestyles which the market place is demanding,” Gordon said. “Many of our clients are requesting 3,000 square feet or less single floor living, but with well-planned outdoor living areas, views of the Hill Country and access to amenities including golf, lake front access, and country club living.”

Gordon says the new homes in the area are continuing to build the popular Texas Tuscan design, but also are embracing designs which include cleaner architectural lines.

“The Grove in Summit Rock features new homes which have a country “Barn” look and are proving

very popular,” Gordon added. “But fundamentally, one of the basis of growth and attractiveness of the

Horseshoe Bay area is waterfront living...where a family can walk out their living room door and be on the Texas lake of preference, Lake LBJ in minutes.”

The new home tour will feature new homes, which reflect the different lifestyles available in Horseshoe Bay.

First, a unique selection of homes spread out over scenic view points above the Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course. Secondly, several waterfront options will be showcased sitting directly on Lake LBJ and lastly, a few options in the popular Trails of Horseshoe Bay. These homes range in size from 2,057 square feet to over 5,000 square feet, and from $575,000 to over 4 million dollars.

The advancement in new home technology will be showcased as well in these new home products.

“New automobiles have new designs and technology that older cars do not feature,” Gordon said. “New homes also have new designs and new technology and new materials that older homes never had.”

“I think our guests at the New Home Tour will be amazed at the new features and technology in these homes,” Gordon added.

All tour guests must register at the first home on the tour located on the Summit Rock golf course, 316 Nattie Woods, to receive the tour map and passport for a chance to win vacation packages at Horseshoe Bay Resort. The first home is located up the hill off Summit Rock Blvd. near the new Summit Rock entrance off Hwy 71.
