Annual Bertram Olde Tyme Christmas Festival

Annual Bertram Olde Tyme Christmas festival will be held on November 29, 2014. Avoid the crowds in the malls and come to our all handcrafted festival in Bertram. There will be Live Music, Antique Car Show, Children's games, food and Santa in the park. A professional photographer will be there to take pictures with Santa. The festival starts ant 9 AM. The festival is sponsored by the Bertram Chamber of Commerce and the Senior Citizens Center. Each year the Olde Tyme Christmas Festival holds a costume contest with cash prizes for the top three entries.

Take a step back in time! Many of our vendors and visitors dress in period costume. We invite you to join in the spirit of the festival and wear period costume (think Little House on the Prairie). ou'll find a variety of tasty food as well as demonstrations of old fashioned cooking. Volunteers from Ft. Croghan will demonstrate pioneer arts and crafts, and there will be authentic Indian dancers.

The festival hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and admittance is free. Bertram prides itself on its hospitality, and there will be many free activities for children and adults, including pony rides, face painting, music and entertainment. A variety of delicious foods are provided by Bertram non-profit organizations, and you'll find brisket sandwiches, sausage on a stick, tamales, and much more. The Friends of the Bertram Library operate a Sweete Shoppe, where you'll find all sorts of tempting candy, cookies, cakes and pies along with hot beverages.

Arts & Crafts Vendors: There will be arts and craft booths along Vaughan Street the entire day. If you have questions, call City Hall at 512.355.2197.
