JV football team defeats Antonian

The Blanco junior varsity football team picked up a 22-13 win over Antonian Sept. 16 at Panther Stadium. The Apaches had the early advantage, going up 13-0. Blanco found the end zone on a scoring pass from Colby Murphree to Jess Whitehead. The Panthers trailed 13-6 at halftime. The Panthers executed a methodical drive on their first possession of the second half the ended on a Murphree touchdown run.
