Refurbished historic welcome sign installed
The historic, refurbished welcome to Blanco County sign at the intersection of RR165 and RR2325 was installed.

On Sunday, the rebuilt sign welcoming visitors to Blanco County and proclaiming it the home of President Lyndon B. Johnson was installed at the intersection of RR165 and RR2325. On hand at the installation on Sunday were Bernard Mollberg, local coordinator and facilitator of the project; Art Brooks, master carpenter; and Adrian Landon Brooks, the muralist who painted the sign. “We have been delighted with the local support of this project,” Mollberg said.
