Sept. 29 ceremony to honor first responders, veterans

Firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMTs and military veterans from across Blanco County will parade past St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, 218 Pittsburg in Blanco, at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 29. The event is for a special blessing in celebration of St. Michael, the patron saint of first responders and the military. The day coincides with the Feast Day of St.
