Lady Panthers finish second in JC tourney

The Blanco volleyball team posted a 5-2 mark during the past week, including a 5-1 record at the Johnson City tournament. The Lady Panthers started the week Aug. 24 with a 3-1 loss to the perennially tough Wimberley Texans. Set scores were 19-25, 25-16, 12-25 and 20-25. Emilee LaRue and Elin Kaiser each had 11 kills in the match.
