Blanco’s students turned in strong STAAR scores in many areas despite pandemic and winter storm-related challenges, with the district outperforming or equaling the state averages on nearly 91 percent of the testing areas. “Our scores turned out well, and I’m proud of what our students and staff members were able to accomplish during this crazy school year we had,” said BISD Superintendent Clay Rosenbaum.
