LaRue breaks school discus mark at state meet
Emilee LaRue competed in the discus at the UIL State Track and Field Championships at Mike Myer Stadium in Austin on May 6. LaRue placed sixth in state in Class 3A with a throw of 123- 1, breaking the Blanco High School record again for the third time this season. LaRue, a junior at BHS, won the Region IV meet last month with a distance of 117-10. LaRue is pictured with Coach Pete Rhoades.
