Panthers top Mustangs to claim bi-district title
Ty Adkinson slides and collides with the catcher’s knee in game two of the bi-district playoff series against Nixon-Smiley. Adkinson was safe on this play, scoring a run to add to the Panthers’ 3-0 win over the Mustangs.

The Blanco baseball team defeated Nixon-Smiley 2-0 in a best-of-three playoff series for the bi-district title last Friday. The Panthers won game one 5-1 and game two 3-0. The Panthers improve to 24-4 on the season and advance to the area round in the playoffs. The Mustangs finish the season 8-18-1. Zack Wisdom pitched for the win in game one.
