Blanco County is outpacing state and national vaccination rates, with nearly 40 percent of residents over the age of 16 fully vaccinated against COVID-19. As of May 9, just over 34 percent of Americans and 38 percent of Texans have been fully vaccinated, according to data from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention and the Texas Department of State Health Services.
