LaRue wins discus at region, advances to state

Blanco junior Emilee LaRue won the discus at the Region IV 3-A track meet and will advance to the state meet. LaRue had a throw of 117-10 at the regional meet held April 23-24 at Judson Stadium in Converse. She had thrown the discus 108 the week before at the area meet.
