Tennis team excels at San Saba tournament
The Blanco Panther tennis team played in a tournament at San Saba High School Saturday, March 27. Coach Jason Murphree was pleased with the results saying the team “had a dominating performance”. Team members pictured, from left, Grayci Jung, RoAnna Acosta, Wesley Whitehead, Whitney Whitehead, Lauren Anderson, Ethan Monasmith, Alex Beliveau, Macy Murphree, Gavin Young, John Kainer, Valen Edwards, Mason Gilles, Townes Curbow, Kaiden Harvey, Connor Omo and Jess Whitehead. The Panthers will compete in the District 25-3A meet Monday, April 12 and Tuesday, April 13 at Llano High School.

The Blanco High tennis team excelled at its March 27 outing at the San Saba tournament.. Blanco came away with a first or second place in all nine categories. Girls singles 1. Whitney Whitehead 2. Wesley Whitehead Boys singles 2. Connor Omo Girls doubles 1. RoAnna Acosta and Grayci Jung 2. Macy Murphree and Valen Edwards Boys doubles 1. John Kainer and Mason Gilles 2.
