ON TO REGIONALS
Two Lady Panther powerlifters have qualified for the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association regional meet this weekend, March 6 at Dublin High School. The top 10 lifters in each division qualify for regional. Kiley Elrod, left, has qualified and is in first place in her division with a lift total of 935 pounds. This includes a 390 pound squat, a 225 pound bench press and a 320 pound deadlift. Emily Windham, right, has qualified in her division with a 700 pound lift total with a 255 pound squat, a 165 pound bench press and a 280 pound deadlift and is in sixth in the Region 2 Division 3 standings. Elrod and Windham are both juniors at BHS. Pete Rhoades is the Blanco powerlifting coach.
