Lady Panthers win bi-district playoff game
The Lady Panther basketball team defeated the Nixon-Smiley Mustangs 49-22 in the bi-district round of playoffs Friday, Feb. 12 at the Floresville High School gym. On a cold night just before travel became impossible in Texas, the Blanco girls basketball team stormed into the Floresville gym last Friday and rolled to a 49-22 win against Nixon-Smiley. The Lady Panthers improved to 17-6 overall with the win and advanced to the area round of the playoffs. “I was very proud of the girls adjusting to the weather.
