New water plant expected to be complete by spring 2022
Demolition on the City of Blanco water plant began last month, as pictured above. The new water plant is expected to be online in just over a year, in the spring of 2022.

The construction of the new water plant for the City of Blanco is underway. Construction began Jan. 4, 2021 and the project is expected to be completed in just over a year, in the spring of 2022. However, this time frame is subject to delays due to the weather and COVID-19.
