Powerlifters have strong showings
Kiley Elrod lifted 900 total pounds to win first in her weight class at a recent TSS meet in San Antonio. She is currently tops in her weight class in the region.

The Blanco powerlifting teams have claimed several top finishes in recent meets at the Texas Strength Systems Gym in San Antonio. Jackson Cress and Daniel Jaimes each finished in first place Monday, Jan. 28. Jaimes lifted a total of 1180 pounds and Cress lifted a combined 1095 pounds. Deonte Hector placed second in his weight class.
