CELEBRATING 100 VICTORIES
Blanco boys basketball coach Juston Weldon hit a milestone Tuesday, Feb. 2 with a 71-51 victory against the Lago Vista Vikings. The win was his 100th at Blanco High School in only four years. “It has been a wonderful ride during my four years here in Blanco coaching basketball. One hundred wins is very special to me, however, I could not have done this without the kids here in Blanco,” he said. “These seniors, who were freshmen when I got here, have done such an outstanding job of building the program from day one, from learning my system, to becoming leaders. Every young man who has played for me over the past four years has contributed by playing their role perfectly, and they deserve all the credit.” The team is currently 19-1 overall and 8-0 in district play.
