Special mailbox, video set up in Old Blanco County Courthouse
Youngsters, and those young at heart, can view a special video message from Santa Claus in the Old Blanco County Courthouse. The video may be viewed from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 3 p.m. Sunday.

Christmas decorations are going up in houses, front yards and public places in Blanco. Everyone is busily preparing for the holiday celebrations, and that includes Santa Claus, himself. Even with the limitations placed on everyone due to COVID-19, jolly ole Saint Nick has taken steps to make sure that all of Blanco has as a happy holiday season. Since photos with Santa cannot be taken this year at the Old Blanco Courthouse and in Bindseil Park, the man from North Pole has backup plans.
