Blanco tripped up by state-ranked Llano
Cody Cross (1) avoids the tackler and stretches for extra yardage in the varsity game against Llano. Cross scored a rushing touchdown and a two point conversion reception in the game.

The Blanco football team tangled with district foe Llano on the road Friday, and fell to the state-ranked squad 42-26. Llano (8-0, 3-0) scored on a 70-yard run in the first minute of the game to take an early 7-0 lead on a chilly night at home. Cade Cress took the ensuing kickoff and returned it 12 yards.
