Blanco resident named city administrator in August
William Cal Daves II was appointed as the part-time code enforcement officer for the City of Blanco on April 12, 2019. Following the departure of the then-city secretary in January 2020, he began to assume additional roles within the city management and was appointed as the interim city administrator on May 12, 2020. “In the beginning, code enforcement was part-time,” he said.
