Charles “Charlie” Ralph Cummings
Charles “Charlie” Ralph Cummings

Charles “Charlie” Ralph Cummings passed away on Aug. 26, 2020 at the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 80.

Charlie was born in Greenfield, Ohio, on Sept. 15 in 1939, where he married Barbara Groppenbacher in 1958 and started a dairy operation.

In the early ‘60s Charlie was a businessman in Garden City, Kansas, and continued his business career in Blanco until his passing. Charlie was always known for his laughter and his skilled business craft.

Charlie is survived by his son, Larry Cummings; son, David Cummings; daughter, Linda (Cummings) Leach and husband Bob; son, Bob Cummings and wife Becky; brother, Bill Cummings and wife Kathy; and sister, Joyce Truitt and husband Glen.

Charlie is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Charlie is preceded in death by his mother, Mary, and father, Ralph.

There will be a celebration of life on Nov. 21, 2020 at 11 at the Blanco Cowboy Church.

Memorial donations are suggested to go the Blanco Cowboy Church at 245 Blanco Cowboy Church Trail – P.O. Box 665, Blanco, TX 78606 in lieu of flowers.
