Kinder Morgan presented a donation of $50,000 last Wednesday to the Blanco Education Foundation. The Blanco Education Foundation partners with the community to provide funds “beyond those available through state and federal revenues” for a variety or projects at Blanco ISD, focusing on those that are “innovative education proposals that will impact significant numbers of students and improve student achievements.” One way they do this is by allowing teachers to apply to BEF for grants to be used for specific projects. Grants are awarded each spring. Pictured, from left, are: Dina Johnson, of Blanco ISD; Allen Fore, vice president of public affairs for Kinder Morgan; and Carl Struck, of BEF. Also on the same day, Kinder Morgan made a $50,000 donation to the Johnson City Education Foundation.
