Candy Cargill has been named to the Hall of Fame for the National Association of REALTORS® Political Action Committee.
Cargill, broker/owner of Hill Country Real Estate, is now a member of an elite and passionate group who have attained this status. Their investments help shape the political future of the real estate industry.
The Hall of Fame recognizes dedicated members who have made a significant commitment to RPAC over the years by investing an aggregate lifetime amount of at least $25,000. Cargill received this personal plaque and will now join the other Hall of Fame members with her own name plaque on the RPAC Hall of Fame wall located on NAR’s Washington, D.C. building rooftop.
RPAC helps on federal issues such as the National Flood Insurance Program, Veterans Home Loans and Fair Housing Act. NAR supported the USMCA and WOTUS Repeal and Replace (would’ve made that seasonal creek a public water-way!) and many more important issues.
An induction ceremony was planned for the group’s annual meeting in May in Washington, D.C., but that meeting was postponed due to COVID-19 concerns.
