City council talks water rates, COVID-19 situation
The special meeting of the Blanco City Council was called to order at 6:17 p.m. on March 31 by Mayor Martha Herden. Council members Mayor Pro Tem Martin Sauceda, Tony Vela, Matt Lewis and Martha Gosnell were present, and council member Keith McClellan arrived late. After reciting the pledge of allegiance, Lewis informed the others that a water well had been contaminated from drilling and encouraged the county officials and Kinder Morgan to cease operation and resolve this issue.
