Panthers overwhelm Eagles, Cougars

The Panther basketball team put themselves back in the hunt for the district title with a victory over the Jarrell Cougars Friday, Jan. 10, 72-55 and a decisive win against the Johnson City Eagles Tuesday, Jan. 7, 70-28. The district standings just got crowded at the top spot with four teams with one district loss, including Blanco (5-1), Jarrell (4-1), Georgetown Gateway (4-1), and Lago Vista (5-1).
