Jan. 2, 2019: Southern Blanco County received two to four inches of rain from strong thunderstorms Wednesday night and early Thursday morning causing waters in creeks and rivers to swell quickly. The Blanco Police Department responded to a call at the Monterrey Dr. bridge over the Little Blanco River at the Narrows at 3:45 a.m.
