TCEQ sends Blanco request to contested hearing
The City of Blanco’s request to increase the amount of effluent water it can discharge into the Blanco River has been sent to a contested hearing. The commissioners of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality voted 3-0 on Dec. 18 to grant standing to three groups and five individuals, and referred 15 issues they brought to a hearing to be held in 180 days.
